The Fifth Fleet was likely equipped with specialized gear, as a majority of the troopers in service would have been Clone trooper pilots or Clone navigation officers. However, when Cularin seceded from the Galactic Republic, they were forced to pull their support of the planet, which led to the Fifth Fleet being reassigned. The fleet was given basic training, alongside pilot training, with the fleet eventually being deployed into the Clone Wars.ĭuring the Clone Wars, the fleet was deployed to serve over the planet of Cularin under the command of Jedi General Ai-Ari Kuldi. The Fifth Fleet was created in 32 BBY when the clone troopers were commissioned.
